A Personalized Approach to Mental Wellness

At 247 Concierge Psychiatry Medical, we believe that exceptional mental health care should be accessible, personalized, and responsive to your life's demands. dr. Orlando Cartaya eliminates the barriers of traditional psychiatry, pursuing our best-functioning and most creative mental health using scientific inquiry and holistic techniques.

We take a holistic approach, understanding that mental wellness encompasses mind, body, and lifestyle. Through shared decision-making and comprehensive assessment, we develop treatment plans that align with your goals and values.

Meet the Doctor

Dr. Orlando Cartaya is a psychiatrist based in Los Angeles with training in Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Psychotic Disorders, and Substance Use Disorders. His research focuses on Ketamine treatment for refractory depression and other disorders, cross-cultural psychiatry with emphasis on Dual Diagnosis populations, Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, and addiction psychiatry. He began incorporating ketamine with psychotherapy into his practice as early as 2015, after following the early ketamine trials.

Through his diverse experiences and training in both pharmacology and psychotherapy, Dr. Cartaya prescribes individually tailored therapeutic interventions, typically including lifestyle changes and where warranted, medication options—with novel treatments such as ketamine-assisted psychotherapy—in an empathic, non-judgmental, and safe space. He integrates knowledge and practices from psychodynamic psychotherapy and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and particularly enjoys helping clients to achieve meaningful growth and motivation for positive change. In his free time, Dr. Cartaya enjoys playing and listening to music, writing short stories and memoirs, seeing friends, and traveling.
